CLARIFICATION: These are NOT solely my children, but instead these photos include some that belong to friends. We are at a local park just enjoying the day, eating some lunch, watching children play, reveling in the gorgeous weather!



This was last week....and today is nothing like this beautiful day.
Today is dreary and cloudy and rainy! Booohoo.
BUT...that doesn't mean that it cannot be a good day right?

Hi there! Thanks for the comment! :) You asked where the name of my blog came from... Well, I guess I was trying to think of an original name and the first thing that popped into my head was the tree that has always stood at the bottom of my garden for as long as I can remember. We call it an ornamental cherry tree because the fruit it bears is not edible, merely ornamental. It's always represented home for me and looks beautiful in Spring when the branches are covered in blossom!
I love your blog by the way. You have a beautiful family. I'm sorry you haven't had sunshine this week, but if it's any consolation we haven't either here in the UK :( Still, life is good...
