Am I dreaming?

Or is this really my children's life?

My parents love on these children like no other....they pray for them, lift them up, encourage them and teach them to encourage one another. They also assist us in training them up in the right way, discipline when necessary and offer advice and wisdom.

Is that what this post is about? NO! This post is about the amazing things my parents find for our children! Now, before you go touting that the above pictured toy is a waste of money.....let me tell you, that in my fathers resourceful friendships, he, as he always does, found this "toy" in a friends garage. That find turned into a conversation, and POOOF....before you know it the guy has just given this "toy" to my dad!

This happens to my father all.of.the.time. He acquires amazing old antiques, unique furniture, salvages pieces, "toys", construction supplies and so on....In my humble opinion, because he has always found it in his heart to give freely to those around him. Now...am I calling this "toy" a blessing from God? Well...maybe I wouldn't go that far! But I would say that my father and his relationships are blessed by God! So here you have it!

Oh...well i guess this little ol' non motorized version was okay for Miss Sylvi! Typical easy going third born that she is....she'll just make due with whatever is left. Gotta love that girl! Blonde haired, blue eyes, sock hating little pixie of ours!

And heaven.forbid we would forget the newly One year old! She is a feisty little stinker and would not stand to be left out of this fun! She hopped right on, and soon after was making not.so.happy noises at her brother for attempting to "help her".

And my cautious little Lilly. She never did move very far, but she had fun sitting on it when it was not running.....

This little piece of fun just added to the amazing day we had today of :

Eating Sunday Pancakes

Worshipping

Eating Sunday Lunch

Playing Outside

Feeding Chickens and Picking Eggs

Sipping Mojito's on the back patio at "the farm"

Conversing while children ran the acreage

Going for a run

Children Napping

Eating Dessert...

Again...

Again...

And again!

What a wonderfully blessed day we had! Blessed to have family...generous family who have set forth an expectation of passing along the blessings!
PS) It is an electric whatever, and never did charge up for more than a minute...so the entire day they (read: Finn) pushed it around while sitting on it! Easy to please little buggers!
