Ohhhhhh Living on a Prayer

This is my feeling the last few days. The sheer fact that I have neglected to post anything since last Wednesday shows something.

I have been feeling a little harried the last couple of days for sure. I think my babies "honeymoon" has begun to diminish...and I mean all of my babies. Here's the rundown:

Lilly: Usually rather well behaved I will say. The sassy little girl in her is coming out. She is also discover how to "play" mommy; this has been an eye opening experience for sure.

Finn: He is typically mellow and easy to please. The last couple of days he has become an emotional wreck! He stomps at the drop of a hat, and cannot seem to go an hour without a meltdown! My threats to spank have multiplied exponentially and I have had to fulfill more than usual.
Sylvi: My poor baby...we took away the nuk Saturday night. Ok..before you all go and stone me for doing that to her when she just got a baby sis less than 3 weeks ago...please know my husband took charge on this one! It was NOT my idea (sorry to throw you under the busy hunny!). During the day she is fine...nap time and morning time are another story! And guess who's a daddy's girl? She has begun screaming for "daddy daddy" all the time. What am I, chopped liver?

Pearl: She is still rather angelic...sleeps almost all the time. Today however, has been a little crank meister for sure! But, as I said, rather angelic!

Now that this is written out it doesn't sound that bad. Well...all things looked at with logic are not as bad as they seem (and feel). I will plug on however...and "I'll make it I swear".

haha! I was JUST about to get on my blog and write...what makes them NOT listen to me?? I dont get it! I threaten (and then follow thru), I am consitent, I mean what I say and say what I mean...and still, no listening.

Really??????

sorry to hear you are in a similar boat! But, I love the title! =)

Ohhhh..do I remember! Just before the girls were born, we were wondering how our little guy was going to handle it. Being almost 16 months and all, he was showing some signs of possibly NOT being ok with two babies taking his position as baby of the family. However, after they were born, Julia was the one who started throwing hissy fits on the floor, and refusing to do anything we asked. Our once "angelic" child turned on us.

It's a good thing they snap out of it...eventually.

Oh, and BTW, those babes of yours--so cute!!
