Bits n' Pieces
My poor sweet babe Pearl has an ear infection. I'm sure you're asking, "How did you know?"...and my answer? I DIDN'T! I had appointments for both of the "little's" today for their basic checkups. Sylvi checks out great (in the 99% as usual) and Pearl turns out to have a fairly bad infection in her left ear. She has been fussy for a couple of days, but I thought she was teething. Man I tell you, these sweet, well behaved, angel children just don't clue you in!

Tonight is date night!!! I am too excited to go out with my man and enjoy some alone time! On the docket for the evening includes: Dinner at a nice restaurant, Movie together (and some popcorn I am sure!), possible stops at 2 places I love but never get to go....JoAnn's and Trader Joe's!!! You never know...we'll be free without responsibilities...maybe we'll make some spur of the moment choices too! I can do that ya know! Do things that aren't' on the "docket" per se! I don't always have to make plans. We'll see!

Being that it is date night the children with be with our favorite sitter, Jess. So dinner is on...meatloaf and roasted carrots/parsnips/onions. All they need to do is have a good time. I am sure they will (well they better because babysitting isn't cheap these days for 4 children 4 and under!)! They love her to death and she truly cares for them! I will miss them dearly however; missing bedtime, as much as I loathe it, is very hard for me.

This morning was another truly crazy morning. This whole getting up and getting all of us ready to get Lill off to preschool in time...it is nuts. So as usual I set out clothes last night, got as much as possible ready ahead of time...and even then "wrenches" flew. Thankfully...today they were good wrenches! My dad took Finn for the morning...err...I guess it turned out to be the day! So I only had 2 in tow to the Dr. office...nice! Then we picked up Lilly at 11 and did our grocery shopping and picking up of prescriptions!

And there you have it! Just a couple of bit's and pieces from my day!
Oh and btw...Finn just got home and I said "Oh Finn I missed you (kiss), where have you been all my life?"...his response? "what are you talking about?". Funny kid!

I thought I'd check in on here after sending the e-mail earlier. I'm so sorry you still have a sick little one - poor Pearl! I'll pray for her little ear to heal quickly. It was fun to see the blog about the party and the pics of the VERY yummy food! Thanks for that evening. It was a lot of fun. I need to get copies of the pics you took of the kids that night. It's etched in my brain as "the night it all started" as I know there is so much more to come!
